A fun soap made with Irish extra stout beer which is good for hair and skin. We have sold this to customers who buy it for the novelty only to have them to continue to use it for shampoo and bath. Buck Naked Unscented shampoo and bath soap    A customer ask us to make an unscented soap for women to use to shampoo  their hair. We researched this and found basassa oil from Brazil was especially good for hair and unscented. We added this with the other good ingredients and thus came up with Buck Naked.  The customer also markets this soap under her private label.  Unscented great for hunters.

This soap is made with food grade diatomaceous earth. Although it is old as dirt, we discovered it while looking for a non chemical, safe way to treat fleas. We are amazed by all the uses for Diatomaceous earth, one being that it is good to promote healthier, softer skin, less itching, faster healing and good for psoriasis. While good for bathing animals, we have in mind a good bath and shampoo soap for people.

Greystone, a new soap inspired by a granddaughter who liked the scent of a candle and asked if I could create a soap with this scent. I thought it was a rather masculine scent, but its seems women like it just as well. It is hard to descript but it is a fresh, woodsy scent which comes from a blend of essential and cosmetic grade fragrance oils. The grey and black color is Natural and comes from Sea Clay and Bamboo Charcoal. As with all our soaps, the combination of ingredients makes for a good soap which cleans without stripping the skin of natural oils.

Soap for poison ivy, poison oak, sumac or helps with insect bites. Made at the request of one of our wholesale shops in Missouri. We have been buying jewelweed infusion oil from a farm in Maryland and ordered seeds to grow our own. Imagine my surprise when I realized this is a plant I have been pulling from our garden and flower beds for years – after all it is a weed. It contains the compound lawsone which counteracts the irritants in the poison plants. Also, we add Kaolin clay to help dry rashes.

We first made this soap years ago when invited to a kudzu festival. Researching kudzu, we found the leaves do actually have some therapeutic value and has been used for centuries in other countries. There is certainly no shortage of kudzu leaves in our area and we dry these and produce infusion oil. However, this remains mostly novelty soap and goes good in our crate of southern soaps.

Milk & Mud is made with natural Dead Sea Mud and Dead Sea Clay which contains a unique combination of mineral from the Dead Sea. This mud soap is excellent at removing dirt from skin and pores and deep cleaning skin while infusing skin with minerals. I use this soap nightly to cleanse my skin and occasionally leave the soap on to dry before removing with warm water and a wash cloth. This gives the feel of a mud mask and leaves the skin soft and deep cleaned. Your skin will look and feel healthier and firmer. The mud tightens your pores and increases circulation. The exfoliation removes the dead skin cells from the surface revealing new, healthier skin cells. This soap also is made with goat’s milk which is high in peptides that increase skin’s collagen production leaving skin firmer while reducing lines and wrinkles.

Step back in time with this handmade Goat’s Milk Soap. Nostalgia was made when a wholesale customer asked us to make a soap with the scent of wild flowers. After some experimenting  we  made this soap by blending several essential and fragrance oils. It has a nostalgic scent of wild flowers. We market this to the wholesale customer with their private label.

It is not possible to list all the good properties of this soap. Oatmeal is good for all skin types and treats eczema, dermatitis and acne. It exfoliates dead skin cells. Honey is an antioxidant that heals and kills bacteria that causes acne. It also moisturizes and restores skin’s natural PH. Add this with goat’s milk and you have a power house for skin care. We made over 70 varieties of soaps but if we made only one, it would be this soap. It is unscented.

New Vegan soap made with rice milk which contains a number of antioxidants and acids linked to protecting the skin from sun damage, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and blemishes by sealing the moisture in and eliminating excess oil secretion.  Gives a gentle glow to the skin.

As with many of our soaps, this one came about at  the request of a customer who wanted something about the river for their shop.  Research showed a beautiful lily associated with the Flint River thus River Lily soap Was developed by blending a number of essential and fragrance oils.  The stripe in the soap is from black walnut hull powder which is believed to have medical properties. The soap has become a favorite.

Rose clay is beautiful, dusty rose clay that is used in many facial masks for its gentle, cleansing and exfoliating properties. It leaves the skin feeling silky. Along with the goat’s milk and other emollient oils this is a great face and body soap.

A fragrant scent of geranium and rose made in a goat’s milk soap with Geranium Essential Oil. Geranium essential oil has become a popular natural remedy for promoting shiny hair and brighter younger looking skin. Healing mineral content of Dead Sea salt with the extreme exfoliation of sand.  Contains tea tree oil for anti fungal properties, peppermint for cooling and camphor for healing.  Be aware that this is for feet only and keep in a special place so i is not used for bath soap.

We made this over a yer ago at the request of a beautician and although he did not end up selling it in his shop, we cannot keep it in stock.  We finally are ale to offer it online.  Before the lock-down, my granddaughter took this to New Zealand, Thailand and Italy.  A couple of friends have taken it with them to Scotland and a friend’s daughter traveled with it in Africa.  This shampoo bar is more traveled than I am.  Since this is a bar, it travels better than a liquid, leaving more room in your liquid bag and no leaks.  It serves as a shampoo and conditioner.  It includes a number of oils which are good for the hair and scalp; including babassa, coconut, olive castor, jojoba, Vitemin E, colza, honey and liquid silk.
